This supremely attractive and nicely struck for the type example is complimented with a rich golden luster an overall bright complexion. This type was struck 1600-11 as part of a short lived monetary reform. The albertin d'or was two-thirds of a ducat. The double albertin d'or is shown here. It was replaced after 1612 by the souverain d'or. Albert and Isabella were regents for Philip III in the Netherlands.
