This specimen was lot 6486 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Westphalia. 1/6 Taler, 1812-B. Brunswick Mint. NGC MS-64. KM-unlisted. High grade and lustrous with diaphanous multi-hued toning over all of the surfaces." This is actually an unlisted date of KM 88 (listed for 1808-13 from Cassel (F) and Clausthal (C)). The listed dates are not expensive. At the Congress of Vienna, the area was restored to its former lords, Hannover and Prussia.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
