This specimen was lot 4310 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabruck, March 2024), where it sold for €320 (about US$420 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, <blockquote>"''NÜRNBERG, STADT, 1/21 Taler (Groschen) 1552, mit Titel Karls V. RR Hübsche Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich.'' ([[Germany]], [[German States, Nurnberg|city of Nuremberg]], groschen or 1/21 thaler of 1552, struck in the name of Charles V. Very rare, handsome patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"</blockquote> The groschen was normally three kreuzer or 1/20 gulden, so we don't know the reason for the odd fraction but the "21" on the orb on the reverse clearly shows that was what was intended.

Künker sale 406, lot 4310

This specimen was lot 4310 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €320 (about US$420 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NÜRNBERG, STADT, 1/21 Taler (Groschen) 1552, mit Titel Karls V. RR Hübsche Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Nuremberg, groschen or 1/21 thaler of 1552, struck in the name of Charles V. Very rare, handsome patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"
