This specimen was lot 73833 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Gilt Silver Bimetallic 2 Pounds, 2015. Llantrisant Mint. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-68 Ultra Cameo. Commemorating the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta. Extremely vibrant and alluring, with immense frosting upon the devices and mirroring in the fields."

Recorded mintage: 434 in gold.

Specification: 12 g, bimetallic (copper-nickel center in a nickel-brass ring), 28.4 mm diameter. The gold version is 15.97 g, 0.917 fine gold, 0.4707 troy oz AGW.
