MS-63 (NGC)." </blockquote> The type was struck 1816-20 and features the bust of George III, by then subject to the regency of his son the Prince of Wales.

The first specimen was lot 606 in Stack's Coin Galleries sale (New York, October 2010), where it sold for $218.50. The catalog description[1] noted,

"GREAT BRITAIN. George III, 1760-1820. Last Coinage. Shilling, 1816. MS-63 (NGC). Shilling, 1816. Old head r. Rv. Arms in Garter. MS-63 (NGC)."

The type was struck 1816-20 and features the bust of George III, by then subject to the regency of his son the Prince of Wales.
