Sincona sale 70, lot 3403

This specimen was lot 3403 in Sincona sale 70 (Zurich, May 2021), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$133 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND | Grisons | Kanton. Halbbatzen 1836, Chur. FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Grisons, half batzen of 1836, Chur mint. Uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1836 and 1842. Five rappen = half batzen = four kreuzer.

Recorded mintage: unknown.
