This specimen was lot 34273 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $763.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Vaud. Canton 10 Batzen 1810 MS65 NGC. This highly lustrous Gem has an excellent strike, and full cartwheel luster. The finest example graded at NGC and as such, worthy of a strong bid. From the Redwood Collection, Part II." This type is listed for 1810-11 and is scarce. A matching twenty batzen exists (KM 16). Forty batzen made a thaler.

Recorded mintage: 1,234.
