A thaler of the Hall mint struck for Austria while Charles VI was emperor. This specimen was lot 50435 in Heritage sale 425 (New York, January 2007), where it sold for $253. The catalog description noted, "Charles VI Taler 1719 Hall, choice AU, lightly cleaned long ago, just a slight rub on the cheek." The type was struck 1719-34, along with similar types from Vienna, Breslau and Graz.
Recorded mintage: 118,000.
Specification: 28.82 g, 0.875 fine silver, .810 troy oz ASW.
