This specimen was lot 1696 in Jean Elsen sale 117 (Brussels, June 2013), where it sold for €140 (about US$221 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, SAXE-ALT WEIMAR, Friedrich Wilhelm et Johann (1573-1603), AR Taler, 1582, Saalfeld. Droit: B. cuirassé de Friedrich Wilhelm de face, tête à droite, vêtu d'un manteau, accosté de la date. Six écus sur le tour. Revers: B. cuirassé de Johann de face, tête à gauche, vêtu d'un manteau. Six écus sur le tour. presque Très Beau.
