This specimen was lot 3497 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. Shilling, 1963 (m). Elizabeth II. NGC graded Proof 66." The SCWC lists this type for 1955-63. This date, from the Melbourne mint, is common, tho proofs are scarce.
Recorded mintage: 10,072,000 plus 5,042 proofs.
Specification: 5.65 g, 0.500 fine silver, 24 mm diameter.
