This specimen was lot 1208 in Sincona sale 85 (Zurich, October 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Sultan Ahmad Shah, 1327-1344 AH (1909-1925). 1 Toman 1343 AH (1924/1925 AD), Tehran Mint. Bust type with collar. Rare variety. NGC AU58. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 235. Finest certified by NGC."
This type was struck AH 1332-1343 during the reign of Ahmad Shah (r. 1909-25). Ahmad Shah left for Europe in 1923 and was absent during the coup of 1925 which ousted him.
