This specimen was lot 20884 in Heritage sale 3021 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description^[1] noted, "George III Halfcrown 1819, Small Laureate Head, MS65 PCGS, a gorgeous Gem UNC with glistening satiny luster, a super-bold strike showing just about every tiny design detail, and lovely golden gray toning with some bright greenish blue iridescence on the reverse. A real prize for an 1819 halfcrown!" This is the highest mintage date of a type struck 1817-20 and superseded a design with a slightly different bust of 1816-17 (KM 667).
