This mezzo grosso was struck during the reign of Clement XII (1730-40). It is not dated and was struck alongside (or before or after) a similar mezzo grosso (KM 831) with the reverse legend VT SALVI FIANT. The mezzo grosso was 2½ baiocchi, while the piastra, the Italian equivalent of the German thaler, was 105 baiocchi (3½ testone).

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 0.67 g, silver, 0.917 fine.
