This specimen was lot 3165 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,600 (about US$4,852 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NIEDERLANDE, CAMPEN, Stadt. 2 Dukaten o. J. (1590-1593). Spanischer Typ mit gotischer Umschrift. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich. (Netherlands, city of Kampen, undated double ducat, Spanish type with Gothic legends. Very rare, minor scratches, extremely fine.)"
The towns of Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle are in central Overijssel and banded together in the mid-sixteenth century to issue coinage. This type is accompanied by a single ducat (Fr-150).
