This specimen was lot 74351 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. 2 Annas, 1912-(C). This two annas was struck at the Calcutta mint before World War One. The type was struck 1912-17 and is common in all grades but still makes a handsome coin in nice condition. It was converted to copper-nickel in 1918 and struck in that alloy until 1941.

Recorded mintage: 7,724,000 + proofs + more from Bombay.

Specification: 1.46 g, 0.917 fine silver.
