Heritage sale 3064, part of lot 32636

This specimen was part of lot 32636 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), which sold for $2,640. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Five-Piece People's Republic gold Panda Proof Set 1986. Includes 5 to 100 Yuan. A nice collection of glossy and highly lustrous Pandas accompanied by a very nice custom wooden box and original capsules. AGW 1.899 oz." This fifty yuan is accompanied by five yuan (KM 131), 10 yuan (KM 132), 25 yuan (KM 133) and 100 yuan (KM 135). Proofs should be marked with a "P".

Recorded mintage: 48,618 + 10,000 proofs.
