This specimen was part of lot 2330 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), which sold for $1,292.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. 5 Yuan Four Piece Proof Set, 1992. Bronze Age Discoveries, Series 2. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. KM-457/60. Includes case of issue." This NCLT was one of a four piece set honoring Bronze Age sculptures found in archeological digs. The others featured a panther (KM 458), a deer (KM 459) and a lantern (KM 460).

Recorded mintage: 3,000 proofs.

Specification: 10 g, .900 fine silver.
