This specimen was lot 2625 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $420. The catalog description[1] noted, "CEYLON: Victoria, 1837-1901, AE 5 cents, 1892, a superb example with partial original red mint luster! PCGS graded MS64 BN." This type is listed for 1870, 1890-92 and 1900 and is somewhat common. Restrikes in silver and gold exist.
Recorded mintage: 1,000,000.
