This specimen was lot 3320 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $66. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN: Muzaffar al-Din Shah, 1896-1907, AR 2 qiran, Tehran, AH1322, date between the lion 's legs, traces of original luster, EF, ex Dabestani Collection." This type was struck AH 1320-1322.
Recorded Mintage: 8,640,000.
Specification: 9.21 g, 0.900 fine silver, 28 mm diameter.
