Sincona sale 91, lot 3710

This specimen was lot 3710 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$397 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Taler 1777, Zürich. Gezackter Rand. Fast vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion SINCONA 6, Zürich, Mai 2012, Los 2711. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, thaler of 1777, Zürich mint, ragged edge. About extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1776-77 and came with a half thaler (KM 162).
