This specimen was lot 3591 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$595 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zug, 1/6 Assis 1764, Zug. Grosses geschweiftes Wappen ohne Buchstaben. Wertzahl mit zweizeiliger Inschrift. Darunter die Jahreszahl. Selten. Fast sehr schön. Korrodiert. (Switzerland, canton of Zug, one sixth assis of 1764, Zug mint. Obverse: large curved arms without legends; reverse: value with two line inscription, date below. Rare, About very fine, Corroded.)"
The SCWC lists this type for 1747-52, 1756-57, 1761-67. Like many low denomination coins, it is common in low grade but rare in choice condition, no contemporaries thinking it worth hoarding. It was equal to the angster (1/600 thaler).
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 0.2 g, billon, 12 mm diameter, this specimen 0.21 g.
