This type was struck for circulation in Yugoslavia 1982-86 and is worthless in all grades. It was demonetized in 1988. Other coins struck in 1984 included fifty para, two, five and ten dinara plus assorted NCLT's struck for the Sarajevo Olympics. The regime came apart after the fall of Communism in 1989-90 and the Balkan Wars resulted.

Recorded mintage: 172,185,000.

Specification: 3.6 g, nickel brass (75% Cu-21% Zn-4% Ni), 20 mm diameter, reeded edge.
