This specimen was lot 1300 in Jean Elsen sale 164 (Brussels, March 2026), where it sold for €200 (about US$279 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"VLAANDEREN, Ieper belegerd door de Spanjaarden (1583-1584), 10 stuiver, 1583. Op vierkante tinnen plaatje. Latere nabootsing. Vz/ Leeuwenschild onder 83. Klop met waarde X S. Fraai à Zeer Fraai. (Flanders, Ypres besieged by the Spanish, 1583-84, ten stuivers of 1583, on a square piece of tin, a later restrike. Obverse: a shield with a lion under the date, value stamped above. Fine - Very Fine.)"

Ieper is the Dutch name for the town of Ypres, besieged by the duke of Parma in 1583-84. The town fell in April 1584. It is remembered today for the fierce battles fought there during World War One.
