This specimen was lot 75673 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $109. The catalog description[1] noted, "YEMEN. Ahmadi Riyal, AH 1373 (1954). al-Nasir Ahmad bin Yahya (Imam Ahmad). NGC AU-58." Al-Nasir Ahmad bin Yahya, despot of Yemen, took power in AH 1367 / 1948 AD after his father and predecessor Yahya bin Muhammad died in a coup attempt. This riyal was struck AH 1367-1381, many over imported Maria Theresia thalers.
