Sincona sale 38, lot 1255

This specimen was lot 1255 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,799 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Würzburg, Bistum, Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim, 1755-1779 Dukat 1772. Würzburg. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. (bishopric of Würzburg, Adam Frederick of Seinsheim, 1755-79, ducat of 1772, Rare, About extremely fine.)"

This one year type (also KM 348 for 1755-72) is fairly scarce.
