Wurzburg 1593-SK VM 60 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 595 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 1,700 CHF (about US$2,130 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Würzburg, Bistum, Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn, 1573-1617. Guldentaler zu 60 Kreuzern 1593. Sehr selten. Attraktives vorzügliches Exemplar. Randfehler, korrodiert und Kratzer auf der Rückseite. (Germany, bishopric of Wurzburg, Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn, 1573-1617, gulden of sixty kreuzer of 1593. Very rare, Attractive extremely fine, Edge nicks, corrosion and scratch on reverse.)"
St. Kilian was an Irish monk who converted Franconia and Thuringia to Christianity. He was martyred around 686 A.D. by beheading, which is why he is usually depicted holding a sword. The gulden at this time was five-sixths of a thaler.
