Wurttemberg 1895-F 5 mark Dav-964
This specimen was lot 6408 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €500 (about US$696 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSSILBERMÜNZEN, WÜRTTEMBERG, Wilhelm II. 1891-1918. 5 Mark 1895. Kl. Kratzer, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Württemberg, William II, 1891-1918, five mark of 1895, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
Altho all the various states of the German Empire were entitled to strike silver five mark coins, many emitted only a few. This Wurttemberg type is known for 1892-1908 and 1913 and is quite common.
