This specimen was lot 4635 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,201 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"WÜRTTEMBERG, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH Karl, 1864-1891. Vereinstaler 1868. Prachtexemplar. Fast Stempelglanz. Aus der Sammlung Jürgen und Erika Schmidt, Bovenden. Exemplar der Auktion Leipziger Münzhandlung 79, Leipzig 2013, Nr. 2350. (kingdom of Württemberg, Charles, 1864-91, union thaler of 1868. Choice example, about uncirculated.)"
The type is noted for 1868-70 and is fairly available in circulated condition.
