This specimen was lot 2450 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Württemberg, 1495 Herzogtum. Karl Eugen, 1744-1793 Konventionstaler 1769. Stuttgart Brustbild mit offenen Haaren. Sehr schön. (Germany, duchy of Württemberg, Charles Eugene, 1744-93, convention thaler of 1769, Stuttgart mint, bust with curled hair. Very fine.)"
This scarce type was also struck in 1776; that date is rare.
