This specimen was lot 38413 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Wurttemberg. 3 Kreuzer, 1594. Stuttgart Mint. Friedrich I. PCGS MS-63. In the name of Rudolf II." The coinage of Württemberg prior to the nineteenth century is generally rare and this groschen is no exception. It is listed for 1594-96, all with two digit dates.
