This specimen was lot 11381 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 3 Pfennige, 1733. Wismar Mint. Fredrik I. NGC VF Details--Environmental Damage. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1721-27, 1730-33, 1738-40, 1743-44 and is listed as inexpensive. The SCWC spells the denomination "pfennig", as Germans do today, but we are spelling it as it is shown on the coin, "pfening". Wismar was under Swedish rule 1648-1803.
