This specimen was lot 46488 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Ireland. Wicklow. Cronebane. Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1789. PCGS MS-63 Brown." Cronebane was the site of copper mines in county Wicklow in the 1780's. Irish trade tokens are much less plentiful than those of England.
