This specimen was lot 1409 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$564 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"THE NETHERLANDS | Westfriesland, Provinz, Dukat 1638. Früher Typ. Vorzüglich mit Prägeglanz. Gewellt. (Netherlands, province of Westfriesland, ducat of 1638. Extremely fine with mint luster, Wavy flan.)"
This type is recorded in the SCWC for 1607-12, 1619-24, 1631-75.
Recorded mintage: 351,050 for 1637-42.
