This specimen was lot 21299 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $3,600. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Venice. Leone, (1694)-FT. Silvestro Valier (1697-1700). NGC MS-62. Admirably detailed with multicolored iridescence sitting atop glossy, minimally marked surfaces. RARE in this great condition and seldom seen at auction for the type." This type was struck 1694-1700 with various mintmasters; FT stood for mintmaster Francesco Trevisan. It was "Struck for use in the Levant" per the SCWC.
