This specimen was lot 1729 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"ITALIE, VENISE, Alvise Mocenigo Ier (1570-1577), AR 40 soldi (2 lire), s.d. (1572-1573). 2e type. Sigle MS (Marin Sanudo). D/ Saint Marc assis de f. sur un lion, remettant une bannière au Doge agenouillé devant lui. R/ Sainte Justine deb. de f., ten. une palme et les Evangiles, la poitrine transpercée par un glaive. Rogné. Très Beau. (Italy, republic of Venice, Alvise Mocenigo I, 1570-77, undated silver forty soldi or two lire, second type, signed MS. Obverse: St. Mark facing, hands a banner to the doge who kneels before him; reverse: St. Justine facing, holding a palm frond and the Gospels, her breast pierced by a sword. Clipped, Very Fine.)"
