This specimen was lot 25709 in Heritage sale 3019 (Chicago, April 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic gold 200 Bolivares 2010, PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, a lovely piece. Only two years old, and neatly certified for the careful buyer." This type is too new to be listed in the SCWC so the mintage and specification are as yet unknown. Francisco de Miranda was an early hero of the struggle against the Spanish but his campaigns were a failure. Victory and independence would require ten years of unremitting warfare led by Simon Bolivar.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: gold.
