Sincona sale 26, lot 4340

This specimen was lot 4340 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"5 Bolivares 1926. Gutes sehr schön. (Venezuela, five bolivares of 1926, good very fine.)"

This type was struck until 1936. The later dates are common but this product of the Philadelphia mint is scarce above Extremely Fine.

Recorded mintage: 800,000.

Specification: 25 g, 0.835 fine silver, 0.723 troy oz ASW, this specimen 24.85 g.
