This specimen was lot 4339 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it sold for 305 CHF (about US$377 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"20 Bolivares 1912. Paris. Vorzüglich (Venezuela, twenty bolivares of 1912, Paris mint, extremely fine.)"
This denomination was struck in gold 1904-12 to the standard of a French twenty francs d'or. Varieties exist.
Recorded mintage: 150,000.
