This specimen was lot 883 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 11,000 CHF (about US$14,599 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"THE NETHERLANDS | Utrecht, Provinz. 2 Dukaten 1740. Abschlag von den Stempeln des Scheepjeschilling (6 Stüber). Sehr seltenes Jahr und aussergewöhnliche Erhaltung. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, double ducat of 1740, off metal strike using schilling dies. Very rare date and extraordinary condition. NGC MS64.)"
The silver type (KM 101.1) was struck 1742, 1747, 1750, 1754-55, 1758 and 1764. The gold presentation type (KM 101a) was struck 1740-57, 1760, 1763-64, 1769, 1772, 1775, 1784-89 and 1794.
