The first specimen was lot 21587 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "URUGUAY. 20 Centesimos, 1877-A. PCGS SP-64 Secure Holder. An impressively detailed coin, possessing significant vertical die polish lines in the fields and faint amber tone at the edges. Only surpassed by one example in the PCGS population reports." This type was struck 1877 and 1893 along with a ten centésimos, fifty centésimos and one peso. It is common.
