This specimen was lot 22783 in Heritage sale 3021 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $2,585. The catalog description[1] noted, "Uri. Gold Ducat 1736/20, MS63 NGC, prooflike mint luster, highly attractive, noted by NGC as struck over Fr-406. Very scarce type in mint state." Unlike the extensive coinage of Basel, Bern or Zürich, the forest canton of Uri issued only a few, rare ducats such as this one with a cow's head.
