Although the mintage of the 1915 is low for a P Mint cent, it is nonetheless common in all grades up to and including gem Mint State. Many 'Red' coins are either that color by virtue of dipping, or have flecks and spots. Truly choice 'original' pieces, sharply struck, are scarce.
Proof Mintage: 29,092,120 plus 1,150 proofs. The 1915 proof mintage is the third lowest in the series, behind the 1916’s 1050 and the 1909 VDB’s 420.
Specification: 3.11 g, bronze, 19 mm diameter.
Catalog number: KM 132.
