The 1839-D Half Eagle is a single year type with obverse mint mark. From the Findley Ridge Collection, ex Green Pond, ex Chestatee; and here is an example from the Three Rivers Collection.

Specification: 8.36 g, 0.900 fine gold, .242 troy oz AGW, reeded edge, 21.6 mm diameter.
