Stack's Bowers November 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 78621

This specimen was lot 78621 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description^[1] noted, "TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS. 20 Crowns, 1977. Elizabeth II. PCGS MS-69 Deep Cameo. Commemorating the four different cameos of George III." This NCLT was accompanied by another featuring portraits of George's granddaughter Victoria (KM 14). It seems likely that there would have been more in the series if sales had been better.

Recorded mintage: an unknown number of "BU" plus 1,973 proofs.

Specification: 38.7 g, 0.925 fine silver, 45 mm diameter, plain edge.
