This specimen was lot 2433 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Abdul hamid II, 1876-1909, AR 2 kuruş, AH1293 year 11, nice luster with just a hint of light tone, NGC graded MS65." This type, roughly equal to a dime, was struck in large numbers for years 8-34. This is the highest mintage date.

Recorded Mintage: 5,115,000.

Specification: 2.41 g, 0.830 fine silver.
