This specimen was lot 76477 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY. Ottoman Empire. Kurush, AH 1255 Year 14 (1852/3). Constantinople Mint. Abdulmejid I. PCGS MS-66." This type was struck for the sultan years 6 thru 23 and most dates, including this one, are common.

Recorded mintage: 790,000.

Specification: 1.20 g, 0.833 fine silver, reeded edge.
