This specimen was lot 75807 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY. Ottoman Empire. 6 Kurush, AH 1223 Year 31 (1838). Istanbul (Constantinople) Mint. Mahmud II. NGC MS-61." This type was struck years 26-32 and has a low catalog value. The denomination was last struck in AH 1255, year 4.
