The catalog description^[1] noted, "TURKEY: Selim III, 1789-1807, AR 5 para, Islambul, AH1203 year 8, XF-AU, ex Kenneth A. Bovenkamp Collection." This type was struck years 1 thru 19 and this is a common date. Interestingly, the SCWC shows a Bavarian thaler for this coin.
