Turkey AH1203 2 kurush rev DSLR.jpg

This type was struck years 1-19 for Selim III, sultan of Turkey 1789-1807. It has a low catalog value as the bad strike and debased alloy make it unattractive to collectors. It must have been even less desirable to merchants of the period.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 25.2-25.6 g, 0.465 fine silver.

Catalog reference: Dav-1818; KM 504.
