This specimen was lot 17 in Sincona sale 31 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 275 CHF (about US$327 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "OTTOMAN TUNIS | Ahmed III (1115-1143ah/1703-1730ce) ¼ riyal 1140ah (1727ce) AR RR -unc." This type was struck AH 1138-1142 in the name of Ahmed III in Constantinople. It is very rare in nice condition.
